Golf's verdict: I always thought these guys were an electronic dance band but turns out not. Quite old school hip-hop in a good way. Enjoyed it.

Máire's verdict: Had no idea who this was. Made me smile but, once again, too long.

Golf's verdict: Manufactured country-rock, created by a band of talented session musicians by David Geffen and recorded in London by The Who and Led Zep producer Glyn Johns. Unsurprisingly it caught on and sold millions and millions, but they were basically the Monkees for MOR.

Máire's verdict: Exactly what you expect. It’s okay for background music.

Golf's verdict: Save me from prog rock musicians with pretensions of classical music grandeur and go buy the Mussorgsky 'original'* in its unadulterated form.

Máire's verdict: Not for me. It’s rubbish.

* There's a good Deutsche Grammaphon version from the New York Philharmonic.

Golf's verdict: Fun fact: this is where the term Krautrock came from. Less fun fact: it's all a bit meh...
