Golf's verdict: What with the 'Radio 7' cover of the Bond theme, perhaps it is not surprising that it turns out I have for many years actually been confusing David Holmes for David Arnold. The latter produced a fantastic James Bond theme cover album featuring some great reinterpretations by The Propellorheads and the like. The former did not. Let's just say I was disappointed.
Maire's verdict: I enjoyed 'Radio 7' but it is the Bond theme. Not really my genre so I wasn't really that interested.

Golf's verdict: It's no Daydream Nation, but if you like super cool New York drawled guitar music then this will be right up your alley.
Maire's verdict: Really enjoyed this - far more than their previous two albums on this challenge.

Golf's verdict: Quite an interesting listen and not quite what I was expecting (falling victim, sadly, to the knee-jerk stereotyping assumptions conjured up by his name.) That may also explain it being one of the lowest ever selling Mercury Music Award winning albums.
Maire's verdict: Not sure the morning commute is the right place to listen to this album. I found it rather irritating.

Golf's verdict: Bob's sadly rather short reign as the (living) king of reggae really started with this first Island records release (actually a rerecording of an existing Jamaican released record). Everything that would make him reggaes greatest artiste is all present and correct.
Maire's verdict: Prepare yourselves..... I rather enjoyed about half of this before it started getting annoying. Trying to work out why and I think it has something to do with not recognising many of the tracks.
