Golf's verdict: Dominated by an absolutely unforgettable turn from Iggy Pop on 'Aisha', this is also a strong album throughout, especially on 'Dirge' and 'Aladdin's Story'.
Maire's verdict: I'd forgotten how fun this album is. 'Aisha' is the stand-out track.

Golf's verdict: 'Bang the Drum Slowly' pinches a couplet from 'Fields of France' by The Fureys and I had that in my head thereafter. That was a good thing as it is a better song than any on here, which tends towards pretty standard C&W fare.
Maire's verdict: It's just not very good or enjoyable.
