Golf's verdict: Still not completely won over by the nonsensical lyrics, but the production is superb. Guess I would like them more if I had not grown up more on Lush (who were produced by one third of the Twins (yes, there were three of them - the jokers) and whose sound owes this a great debt.
Maire's verdict: HIDDEN GEM! Absolutely loved this album.

Golf's verdict: Rather angsty, it's no doubt influenced by his close friend (and Crazy Horse guitarist) Danny Whitten's OD death. This was recorded before but released after Tonights the Night, the album most closely associated with that event, but it is sombre listening. When I was first getting into Neil Young this was quite a rarity as it was only reissued on CD in 2003.
Maire's verdict: Not his best but pretty good.

Golf's verdict: Rather liked the title track and many of the covers demonstrate his unique vocal talents rather well, but I would never classify myself as a fan.
Maire's verdict: Better than the last album of his we had to listen to.
