Golf's verdict: A rather peculiar mix of folk rock and jazz that starts off poorly but gradually loses most of the jazz elements and improves as a result. Stevie Winwood has a great voice for this sort of thing too.
Maire's verdict: Didn't like the first track but improved.

Golf's verdict: A thoroughly enjoyable 40 mins in the company of a singing cowboy. Not sure how authentic he was, but you really don't get to hear stuff like this very often.
Maire's verdict: Reminds me of summers in Inch Island at Inch House reading Louis L'Amour westerns. Pleasant memories but not a regular listen.

Golf's verdict: Briefly she was huge and everywhere, but seems she has failed to turn that into a lasting career, her fuse seemingly spluttering out. (Do you see what I did there?) Rather enjoyable nonetheless with plenty of sweary, 'I-mean-it-maaan' moments she'd struggle to now reproduce with any conviction as she nears 40, so maybe a life of surburban comfort is just as well...
Maire's verdict: Quite enjoyable and rather melodic.
