Golf's verdict: Perfect pop as usual from Madge, from back in the days when she was very reliable and before Gaga, Tay-Tay and Katy Perry spooked her into ever more desperate attempts to maintain her currency.
Maire's verdict: I've only ever heard the singles before but enjoyed the album despite her version of 'American Pie' being rubbish.

Golf's verdict: HIDDEN GEM! Hugely derivative, but who cares when the song writing is as strong as this. I highly enjoyable road-trip sing-along.
Maire's verdict: Great fun. One track in particular reminded me of The Levellers, which wasn't a bad thing!

Golf's verdict: Free Main in Paris is vaguely diverting but - as I think has been said before on this blog - Joni M is never going to be on regular rotation round our way in my lifetime.
Maire's verdict: Not as bad as the last Joni album we had to listen to as part of the challenge but still not something I'd listen to again anytime soon.

Golf's verdict: Never realised that this was their final album as it has so many really strong tracks on it, which is rare for artists at that stage. I hair's breadth from a Hidden Gem.
Maire's verdict: Thoroughly enjoyable with some classic tracks.
