Golf's verdict: At least half of these are absolute stonkers, with the remainder still sufficient to keep you on the dancefloor. He may not be solely responsible for it, nor even the most talented proponent, but Quentin/Norman/Fatboy seemingly created a new genre with this multi-million seller.
Maire's verdict: HIDDEN GEM! Thankfully I listened to this after the warbler and so regained my sanity. Makes you dance in your seat whilst you're working - sign of a damn good record. Best not to sing along to the third track, though....

Golf's verdict: Perfectly inoffensive, in a rather forgettable way. They were huge for a while and had a singer called Fran. Paul McCartney used to jam with them. Where are they now though?
Maire's verdict: I recognised far more tracks than I expected. Enjoyed it for what it is - pleasant easy listening.

Golf's verdict: Not heard this one as, not being a massive fan of this type of rock, had previously only really familiarised myself with the eponymous ('Black') album. I really enjoyed this though and it won't be the last time it gets an airing
Maire's verdict: Fun, but not a patch on Metallica (aka The Black Album).
