Golf's verdict: The best Brazilian '60s psychedilic band by far, of the one that I am aware of. You will probably recognise Track 2 though, so not as obscure as you may think.
Maire's verdict: Nope. Not interested.

Waylon Jennings - Honky Tonk Heroes (1973)

Golf's verdict: I am partial to a bit of C&W and always like Waylon Jennings. His range may be narrow, but it's good listening.
All tracks written by Billy Joe Shaver, except where noted.

Golf's verdict: Stewards' Inquiry need here. This is actually a compilation album made up of tracks from their first 2 LPs and some EPs. Compilations are not supposed to be eligible for 1001 Albums. I'll forgive this slip up though as The Hives are great fun, if you are a fan of 1960s garage rock and The Stooges like I am. Turn it up to 11.
Maire's verdict: I think we went to see them on the tour supporting this album. Couldn't stand them - as far as I was concerned they had a REALLY irritating frontman with an annoying voice. I stand by that.
