Golf's verdict: This guy has about 200 albums worth of this on Spotify. It all sounded pretty much like the same tune to me though! I guess if I invested some time I might be able to distinguish, but that's unlikely to happen. I am guessing he's as resilient to changes in musical fashion as he is susceptible to the bossa-nova.
Maire's verdict: Reminded me of 1950s frothy rom-coms. Not something I would listen to regularly but perfectly acceptable background music.

Golf's verdict: Dusty's debut is a mixed bag of standards, sung impeccably. The Babarach and David songs stand out, along with Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow.
Maire's verdict: I love Dusty's voice. This album has some brilliant tunes but they're mixed in with too many forgettable tracks for this to be a great album.

Golf's verdict: Starts strongly but does not keep it up. Every time I hear Let's Get It On I now think of Jack Black doing it at the end of High Fidelity. Not such a bad thing though.
Maire's verdict: Gorgeous voice and a great first track. I prefer 'What's Going On' though.

Golf's verdict: Led Zep got off to a very positive start with this eponymous release. They were rubbish at coming up with album names, but otherwise pretty peerless when it came to cranking out this sort of hair-shaking, denim-waistcoat-over-the-bare-chest rock.
Maire's verdict: As a LoTR / fantasy genre fan, I was introduced to Led Zep via their fourth album and don't think I've listened to this one (or most, if I'm honest) before. Enjoyed it but prefer IV.
