Day 18: Beck's Odelay

Only the one album today as we went to see Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds at the Auckland Vector Arena. Have lost track of the precise number of times we have seen him, but based on the fact that we've been stepping out together for 24 years and I'd seen him a few times before I met Maire it is between 20 and 30. He was - no surprise - awesome.

There are 4 Bad Seeds albums on the list, plus 1 Birthday Party, to look forward to.

Golf's verdict: It was only when I heard Morning Phase, his most recent album, that it really clicked with me about Beck. He's a master of many genres and this is reflected in an eclectic album full of great tunes.

Maire's verdict: I've never been a Beck fan - or so I thought. Really enjoyed this and will definitely listen to again.
