Golf's verdict: Kool Keith makes an album about an alien scientist/gynaecologist called Dr Octagon. And why not? Actually rather fun, if you ignore some of the more puerile, adolescent tendencies.

Golf's verdict: This would never end up in the 'play regularly' box. Challenging, difficult industrial music, with barely a melody discernable in the whole thing.

Máire's verdict: I love Bliza from his Bad Seeds days but I really didn’t enjoy this album.

Golf's verdict: It's fair to say that I won't be racing back to to listen to this - or any other of the Brazilian/Tropicala stuff we have listened to this year - in 2018. That's not to say it does not have plenty to recommend it, but I don't count this sort of thing amongst the many genres I am happy to dip into regularly.
