Golf's verdict: Spent the whole morning (3 hours plus) eating, drinking and prepping Christmas lunch to this absolutely solid gold HIDDEN GEM!

Máire's verdict: HIDDEN GEM! A wonderful way to spend Christmas Day morning. Such a gorgeous voice.

Golf's verdict: HIDDEN GEM! Both Chuck Berry and Fats left us in 2017. Without them there would have been a VERY different musical landscape in the 60s and onward. Whilst Fats only really played one riff, what a riff it was!

Máire's verdict: Another great voice and some classic songs.

Golf's verdict: 'The Dolphins' and 'Everybody's Talkin'' are classics, the others not so much. Now better known for mentoring some of Greenwich Village's more famous folk exports like Dylan and Baez, Fred ended up walking the talk and retired from music to work in dolphin conservation in Florida.

Máire's verdict: Pleasant but not sure why it’s part of the challenge.

Golf's verdict: If it's all the same to you, I'd really rather you didn't.

Máire's verdict: This is the 1000th album we’ve listened to as part of the challenge! Unfortunately it’s bland (and not a chance it will destroy rock & roll).

Golf's verdict: This is pretty darned proggy, even for someone with quite well-developed ears for prog as I. Prog novices should approach with care.

Máire's verdict: Bloody awful.
