Golf's verdict: I do have a bit of a liking for Kurt Weill and Bertolt Brecht's The Threepenny Opera, so I was already half-way convinced by this (as Hans Eisler was a contemporary of Weill's who also worked with Brecht). I suspect it is probably very much an acquired taste...

Máire's verdict: I liked it but overall a bit too avant-garde for me.....

Golf's verdict: HIDDEN GEM! Dylan's best album of the last 30 years. Includes the best (original) version of 'Make You Feel My Love'. I imagine Bob's made $millions from Adele and the many others who have made it a standard since this first appeared.

Máire's verdict: HIDDEN GEM! Definitely a convert. Loved it.

Golf's verdict: Plenty of familiar tunes on this one, the favourite of film and TV soundtrack supervisors since the 60s. 'Take Five' in particular must have been in about 100.

Máire's verdict: Jazz......
