Golf's verdict: HIDDEN GEM! A real re-discovery. Michael Franti's earlier relationship with Jello Biafra's Alternative Tentacles records meant I was very familiar 'Television, the Drug of the Nation' and several other tracks on here, but I don't think I'd heard it the whole way through in 25 years. It still sounds fresh and vibrant and its political edge is more relevant now than ever.
Máire's verdict: Knew a few of these. Really enjoyed the whole album.

Golf's verdict: Not sure why a live album makes it into the list. As a testament of the band's very well oiled hard blues-rock machine it includes some of their best known work and is pretty effective if you like this sort of thing.
Máire's verdict: Deeply irritating.

Golf's verdict: HIDDEN GEM! It's Johnny Cash playing the hits to an audience of prisoners, of course it's a hidden gem.
Máire's verdict: HIDDEN GEM! I’m a bit Johnny fan and this is a great.

Golf's verdict: Entirely average and another album whose inclusion in the Robert Dimery book '1001 Albums to listen to before you die' appears to be the only thing of note about it. I can only assume its inclusion is down either to a need to appear relevant by covering a UK Garage genre release, or else the journalist who contributed it is a close relative or friend of Mr Cole.
