Golf's verdict: That this is considered to be amongst the most accessible of The Residents' albums makes it important to be wary when choosing what 1970s Dadaist, anonymous art-collective record to put on when you invite the neighbours around for a sherry.
Máire's verdict: Okaayyyy..... not really sure what to say. Won’t be listening again.

Golf's verdict: A diverting 40 minutes of Cuban rumba and jazz.
Máire's verdict: Cha-cha-cha!

Golf's verdict: HIDDEN GEM! A really great live recording of an improvisational genius. This is actually the biggest selling piano album of all time (I am hoping they include Bruce Hornsby & the Range in that). Really worth tracking down, so long as you don't have a fundamental hatred of jazz, like my wife.
Máire's verdict: Started off feeling classic but unfortunately moved into jazz (and we all know how I feel about jazz).

Golf's verdict: George Jones was one of the great country stars of the 70s and this ablely demonstrates why. The title track is another one of those great break-up records that only C&W stars seem to be able to produce.
Máire's verdict: Your typical country record.
