Golf's verdict: HIDDEN GEM! Public Enemy have been a bit of a revelation for me on this challenge. Always located just beyond my normal frame of reference with only the occasional exposure (to 'Bring tha Noize' or 'Fight the Power', for example) over the years. I now have a very long Spotify playlist of PE tunes on regular play.
Máire's verdict: Very enjoyable. ‘Bring the Noise’ is instantly recognisable.

Golf's verdict: DIY post-punk/avant-garde. Rather intriguing. Still going nearly 40 years on and that must mean they have been doing something right.
Máire's verdict: Better than the last offering. Still rubbish though.

Golf's verdict: I was never a big Pavement fan, but this album certainly has its moments if you like Sebahoh, Dinosaur Jr, The Lemonheads, etc.
Máire's verdict: I think Golf will rate this more highly than me. Fun but nothing more than that.
