Golf's verdict: HIDDEN GEM! Old Blue Eyes sings the Great American Songbook. You'd be correct to assume he won't mess this one up.

Golf's verdict: Extraordinarily long. Not bad. Just extraordinarily, mind-numbingly long.
Máire's verdict: I’m sure it’s great in a club after a few drinks but it felt very long when I was sitting at my work desk.

Golf's verdict: Had no idea what to expect but largely enjoyed this slice of dance crossed with some Indian music styles.

Golf's verdict: There are much better, later, records by this band that would have been better included on the list. Their debut is diverting enough though.
Máire's verdict: Never heard this before. Rather enjoyed it to start off with but then started to really annoy me, particularly ‘Poppy’ and ‘Ambulance’.

The Small Faces - Ogden’s Nut Gone Flake (1968)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ogdens%27_Nut_Gone_Flake
Golf's verdict: A bit of a template for Blur's 'Parklife', as even the most casual listener would no doubt spot. The B Side substitutes Phil Daniels for a lot of nonsense from Stanley Unwin, who was a sort of Jabberwockian mangler of the English language for comic effect.
Máire's verdict: There’s a reason ‘Lazy Sunday’ is the only hit......

Golf's verdict: They were part of the San-Fran scene that included Jefferson Airplane and The Grateful Dead, but from the evidence presented here, it was more a case of 'right place, right time'.
Máire's verdict: Something and nothing.
